PWB open in 2006. At this time, we obtain 51Bt for 1€ and we get between 37Bt and 44Bt last season (2010/11). We haven't raised our prices since this first season.
Do not forget to take cash or traveler, because you paid 4% commission each time you use your credit card and you have a maximum by week you cannot pass…

Etihad make a stop at Aboudabie and Emirates (emirates.com/fr) fly by Doubaï. Cathay Pacific and Vietnam air line are good too. It is interesting to look by Google the discount prize or the last minute fly.
The international Bangkok airport (Suvarnbhumi) is at 50kms from the domestic airport (Don Mueang). If you arriving from outside Thailand, you will landing at Suvarnbhumi. It is better to keep 2 hours before your Chiangrai flight.

The international companies and Thai airway allow you 20kg normal baggage weight plus 8kg hand luggage. The other Thai companies are a little beat cheaper than Thai airway, but they accept only 15kg normal baggage and will charge you for exess.
Planete Wakeboard is 25 km from the airport and 15 km from CHIANGRAI (do not mistake with Chiangmai). We have a big car (easy to carry the big bags rider). We can pick you if it is easier for you, but you can use Thai taxi. 1 to 4 peoples, including one stop (for renting motorbike for example).

If you want to enjoy your trip, it is important to have your vehicle. You can rent Moto bike (110cc to 125cc) from 250Bt to 350Bt and a car (little one to pick up 4 wheels) from 850Bt to 1.600Bt. Renting company can bring the vehicle to the lake for around 250Bt (same prise to get it back).
In ChiangRai, 100-125 cm3 Motor Bikes can be rented for 200-350Bt a day. A 4x4 Suzuki Santana or a 250XR Honda Moto Bike can be obtained for 1000Bh a day. They can be delivered to Planete Wakeboard or take back to ChiangRa for 350Bt.
